It is produced from Quinta do Rol wines, with low alcohol content (9%), high fixed acidity, sulfite-free and distilled in copper columns, by the continuous method. Aged for more than 5 years in quarters of National Oak (Q. pyrenaica), French Limousin Oak (Q. robur) and Allier French Oak (Q. sessiliflora).
